A very short walk from our caravan and camping site you will find some very unusual sites of beauty and intrigue. Just along Long wood edge heading south you will come across an old folly and an amphitheatre.

There are panoramic views over the whole Colne Valley, down into the Peak District and over the Yorkshire Moors. In view is Castle Hill an Historic settlement of Cartmandulia going back over 4000 years. Sainsburys is just a very short drive away. Marsh & Lindley are just 5 mins away by car, both offering a good range of bars, restaurants, takeaways and shops and supermarkets. There is a true local pub (Dusty Miller) 5 mins walk away offering a range of home brewed beers. Valley view offers peace and tranquillity for your break.
